Best Sitsom Episodes Ever Contest
If you click here
you will go to splitspider.com. There they are having their Best Sitcom Ever Tournment. There they are pitting Parks and Rec vs. Arrested Development and WKRP in Cincinnati vs. MASH.The one for WKRP in Cincinnati is Turkeys Away and MASH is the first episode that Harry Morgan was in but playing another character. It's title is titled The General Flipped at Dawn. Both MASH and WKRP are shows I have a soft spot for but I had to vote WKRP. It's a funnier show and MASH seems dated but if you leave out the music the humor on WKRP is timeless.

For Sale: Great Deal for Monkee Fans!
For some Monkee fan out there my trouble is going to be your pleasure. I am laid off work and need at least $300 by the end of the month. So here's the deal. I will send you a framed and signed picture of all four Monkees, a signed first edition of Micky's book "I'm A Believer, my life of Monkees, Music and Madness", a DVD of the 1997 reunion of all four in England, my fictional book of the Monkees "Last Train to Murder" and a 1960's comic book of the Monkees. The signed photo I bought from an autograph dealer. At that time it was only signed by Micky, Peter and Mike and came with a certificate of authenticy. Davy signed it for me in person after a concert in Cincinnati, Ohio. The book that was signed by Micky was gotten for me by afriend and given to me as a Christmas gift years ago. It pains me to have to sell them but I need the money more. So if you donate $300 I will send you all of these if you are the first person to donate and e-mail me that you donated it and give me your address. Otherwise they are $60 each and I will send you the one of your choice if it is still available. Thanks in advance for those who help and want to but can't buy them. What you can do in that case it post a link on your site to this post for those that would be interested.

The Big Guy Game
It looks like sometime, for a short while, there was a game called The Big Guy Game. So who better to be the pitch man then Gordon Jump as Arthur "Big Guy" Carlson from WKRP in Cincinnati. I never saw this when it first came out. Recently I saw it over at http://www.retroist.com/2008/09/22/play-the-big-guy-game-with-gordon-more-wine-dudley-jump/
Where is Season Two?
Above you see the cover to the DVD set WKRP in Cincinnati the Complete First Season. My question is when will the complete second season be available? Anyone know? I mean if Night court can be up to season 4 then WKRP, which is a funnier show, should be up to at least season 2. Don't get me wrong Night Court was funny but WKRP was and is funnier. It was also a cleaner show. Herb wasn't a raunchy as Dan on Night Court.

I understnad that and didn't want to lie and say I knew her but I want to let her know about this site. If any of you are her facebook friend please tell her of this site if you think she would be interested. I have been a fan of her work since seeing her on WKRP.

PARTNERS IN CRIME: Ep. 08, S1: "Fantasyland"
Here is an episode of the detective series that Loni did with Lynda Carter in the 80's. It was a very good light hearted drama. Too bad it didn't last longer.

Rest in Peace Jim Harmon
I just heard that Jim Harmon, the writer/editor of the "It's That Time Again" series of short stories dealing with characters from old time radio, has passed away. Mr. Harmon was the first person to buy a story of mine and published it in that series. He exchanged some e-mails with me and he seemed like a very kind man. I even learned a few literary devices from him. His last e-mail was to congratulate me on on the release of my book "Dinky the Elf" but how he may not be able to get a copy. Now I wish I had sent him a copy. Mr. Harmon was a huge fan of OTR, movies, comic books and more. He tried to encourge all writers and he will be missed.
